Tema-based Ghanaian rapper Darlington Kwasi Agyekum has expressed worries on how Ghanaian music lovers are quick to ‘trash’ old artists when there is an emergence of new ones.

Popularly known in the music circles as Dr. Cryme, the ‘Kill me shy’ hitmaker in an interview with Sammy Kay which was monitored by ModernGhana News tasked Ghanaians to replicate similar love they render to new artists

The “kill me shy” hitmaker admonished Ghanaians that the level of love accorded to new artists should be replicated to the old ones who have been there since because in the natural order, the young shall grow too.

He added that it either shows endless love to old artists or motivates them to stay relevant in the industry.

This, he believes will help not to ‘kill’ the artiste’s career with unfavorable statements and comparisons but still bring the best out of them when old.
