Ahafonews.com is on authority reporting a fatal accident which occured on Bantama High street near ABsa Bank.
The accident involved a KIA truck crashing the head of a six year old popularly known as LORD KING.
Our investigation shows that four kids had walked about 500 meters away from their house in pursuit of collecting mangoes. one of these Kids by name LORD KING met his unt
imely death in this pursuit.
We went to the house of the deceased band and had a conversation with the family and some neighbors.
The father of the deceased known as Akurugu was in utter shocked and speechless. we managed to have a few words with him. He gave the name of his son as Long Akurugu who is of age 6 years and had resided in the locality for about 18 months.
The police were on site to conduct their investigations and towed the accident truck away from Accident scene.
In further statement, Ing Kobby Amoah Mensah an independent Road Safety Auditor Consultant who visited the accident scene has called on the relevant state agencies to carry out road safety audits around school environments and implement traffic management measures in urban center to ameliorate the spare of accident fatalities.
