Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is embarking on a three-day official trip to Co-operative Republic of Guyana.

Dr Bawumia left Accra on Friday, December 3 for the visit.

Whilst in Guyana, Vice President Bawumia will conduct a series of meetings leading to the signing of mutually-beneficial development agreements between the governments of Ghana and Guyana, a statement from his office said.

The Vice President is accompanied by some government officials.

He is expected to return to Accra on Wednesday, December 8.
