Reports reaching Ahafonews.com indicates that, a lightening and electrical strike which hit Kwapong Nursing Training college this dawn resulted in a fire outbreak at the school girls dormitory.
According to report, the fire has de- roofed the girls dormitory which was constructed few years ago. Several attempts were made to reach fire service personals in the District when the incident happened but to no avail until later one from different district came. Some say the absence of a fire hydrant compounded the fight to bring the fire under control.
An eye witness who was at the scene when the incident occurred said no one sustained any injury.
