The Black Stars of Ghana have safely arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja ahead of the second leg tie against Nigeria in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

The playing body together with the technical team left the shore of the country on Monday morning.

The team arrived in Nigeria via Africa World Airline chartered flight.

Ghana will train at 17:00GMT at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, 24 hours before Tuesday’s reverse encounter.

The Black Stars of Ghana will have to avoid a defeat to ensure they make it to their fourth World Cup.

The winner over two legs will book one of Africa’s five places at this year’s FIFA World Cup to be hosted in Qatar.

The game against Nigeria will kick off at 17:00GMT on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.

Ghana having missed out in the last edition in Russia in 2018 are chasing their fourth World Cup appearance.
