The South African High Commission, under the esteemed leadership of Her Excellency Ms. Janet Mason, has partnered with Voltic Ghana Ltd in a remarkable corporate social investment initiative. This collaborative effort will result in the construction of two vital boreholes in the Ahafo Region of Ghana.

The project, which aims to provide access to clean and portable water for communities in the region, was born out of a comprehensive tour of the Ahafo Region for economic profiling conducted by Her Excellency the High Commissioner on July 27, 2022.

Located in Dantano and Anwiam, the boreholes signify a significant step towards addressing the water needs of the local populace. On Saturday, April 13, 2024, the regional minister Hon. George Boakye officially commissioned the first phase of the project, which involved the drilling of the borehole in Dantano.

The successful completion of the first phase marks a milestone in the journey towards ensuring access to clean and safe water for all residents of Dantano and Anwiam.

The South African High Commission and Voltic Ghana Ltd remain committed to advancing initiatives that make a positive impact on society and enhance the lives of the people they serve.
