Manchester City won a penalty shootout to overcome Chelsea after an extraordinary end to the Carabao Cup final.

In astonishing scenes towards the end of extra-time, Chelsea keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga refused to come off after the fourth official held up his number.

Chelsea wanted to bring on Willy Caballero to replace Arrizabalaga, who had gone down with cramp.

Arrizabalaga stayed on but City won 4-3 on penalties.
