The Club Licensing Board of the Ghana Football Association has released a list of the home venues for the 18 Ghana Premier League clubs.

Asante Kotoko will return to the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium for the first time in 20 months as the club’s home ground for the next football season.

The Porcupine Warriors were forced to leave the stadium after the government of Ghana closed it down for repair works in February 2020.

Kotoko played the entire 2020/21 domestic and continental championships in Accra and Obuasi, a situation the club claims prevented them from winning any silverware.

With the Facility almost completed, the club has chosen it as its first option for the upcoming season.

The club has also chosen the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium as its alternative venue should the Babayara Stadium not get ready by the beginning of the season.

On the other hand, Legon Cities who played their games at the Accra Sports Stadium have now moved to the Dansoman Carl Reindorf Park.

The Dansoman Park which host Liberty Professionals in the Ghana Premier League will now have only the Soccer millionaires playing their top-flight games there with Liberty demoted to the Division One League.

Accra Hearts of Oak, Great Olympics, and Accra Lions will play at the Accra Sports Stadium, while King Faisal return to the Babayara to join Asante Kotoko
