The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Tano North Constituency in the Ahafo Region, Hon. Dr. Freda Prempeh has congratulated all farmers in the area on the occasion of celebrating the 37th National Farmers Day.
In her message, she said, “Our gallant and ever hardworking farmers deserve to be mentioned all discourses for feeding the constituency and beyond”.
According to her, “As the MP, between 2019 and 2020, she has nursed and distributed 300000 cashew seedlings to farmers in her constituency and promised her constituents to continue to work hard and liaise with the appropriate agencies to ensure that farming is taken to the next level”.
The Tano North MP, charged the youth not see farming as preoccupation of the aged, but go into it to help in checking the unemployment menace.
This year’s Farmers Day Celebration is themed ‘Planting For Food And Jobs-Consolidating Food Systems In Ghana.’
