The District Chief Executive office of Asunafo South District, Hon.Frank Aduse joined key stakeholders in the farming sector in the Asunafo South District for the Farmers day celebration held in all the various Districts in Ghana.

The occasion was graced at Kwapong AGYAREKROM.
The 37th edition of today Farmers day celebration witnessed a lot of dignitaries from the Asunafo South District.

Farmers day celebration is one of the important day which Ghanaians celebrates our gallant Hardworking farmers Nationwide since agriculture is the backbone of Ghana’s economy.

The occasion witnessed a lot of dignitaries including Hardworking farmers in the District, The District Agric officer and his Staff, Ing. Kobby Amoah Mensah (NPP parliamentary aspirant 2020), Presiding Member and his Assembly members,Students, journalist’s, and natives from the region.

Key speakers of this important celebration were the humble District Chief Executive office of Asunafo South [ Hon. Frank Aduse Poku] popularly known as DC Broniii, Asunafo South District Agric officer, Hon. Donkor Abullah [ District Nadmo Director] Mr. Kusi Gabriel [ Asunafo South District insurance Boss]

Addressing farmer’s in the district, the District Chief Executive officer of Asunafo South District Hon.Frank Aduse Poku applauds farmers in the district for their Hard work towards the development of the country and also thank H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo for doing everything possible in making sure that our Hardworking farmers gets their share of the national cake through the NPP better policies introduce so far like farmers pension pay policy which is underway, free fertilizer, planting for export, Rearing for Food and jobs, increasing the staff strength of the workers and good roads.

The District Chief Executive officer of Asunafo South District [Hon.Frank Aduse Poku] also advised our hardworking farmers to very be careful with the use of weedicides because the continue use of it without weeding as we use to do will definitely affect the nutrients in the soil.

After all, the Districts on behalf of the government presented awards to hard-working farmers in the District for feeding mother Ghana through farming.


The award includes motorbikes, farming inputs, machine’s and Cutlass. MR.F.Y DONKOR was ajudged the District Best farmer of the year in Asunafo South District.
