Former President John Dramani Mahama is among the eight aspirants for the presidential primary

Former President John Dramani Mahama will submit his presidential nomination forms at the headquarters of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Monday, 17 December 2018.

This was disclosed by Campaign Spokesperson for Mr Mahama, James Agyenim-Boateng in a statement on Saturday, 15 December 2018.

Mr Agyenim-Boateng added that Mr Mahama will subsequently proceed to Pavilion A of the Trade Fair Centre at La, in Accra at 1:30 pm to address the media.

So far, eight aspirants have officially picked forms to run for the presidential primary of the NDC scheduled for 26 January 2019.

They include former President John Mahama, Mr Goosie Tanoh, Mr Nurudeen Iddrisu, Mr Stephen Atubiga, Mr Alban Bagbin, Mr Ekow Spio-Garbrah, Mr Sylvester Mensah and Prof Joshua Alabi.
