Ghana Premier League newcomers, Accra Lions FC have announced the signing of attacking midfielder Fawzan Alhassan from Still Believe FC.

The club at the end of the 2020/2021 football season excelled and as a result sealed promotion from the National Division One League.

Set to compete in the Ghanaian top-flight league in the 2021/2022 season, Accra Lions FC are gearing up to make a good account of themselves.

As a result, officials of the club have been in talks to sign players in a bid to bolster the squad of the team.

Following successful talks, the club on Thursday confirmed the acquisition of Fawzan Alhassan.

“ALFC agreed a deal for offensive allrounder Fawzan Alhassan Dandawa (18) from Still Believe FC. ALFC Head of Scouting Paul Goodrich describes him as a fast, very agile offensive player with expansive dribbling skills and a very good positioning,” a statement on the Twitter page of Accra Lions FC has said.

Last season, the attacking midfielder played for Real Tamale United on loan from Still Believe. He was part of the RTU side that fought to secure promotion to the Ghana Premier League.
