Black Stars coach Milovan Rajevac said on Sunday that his team has no Covid positive case ahead of their opening match at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.

Rajevac disclosed this at press conference for the clash against Morocco on Monday in Yaoundé.

“Covid is a serious issue these days and I see some of the teams have problems and for us we did our PCR test and all players and officials are ok and we hope it stays like that throughout,” Rajevac said.

Some teams have seen their preparations disrupted by Covid with CAF saying countries suffering outbreaks will have to play their matches even if they have only 11 players available.

Any nation unable to fulfil a fixture will forfeit the game 2-0.

Black Stars arrived in Cameroon on Saturday night and look poised to have a wonderful tournament.

The trophy is the target as Rajevac’s side wants to end the 40 years drought.
