In an unprecedented display of unity to achieve a common purpose, all Assembly Members in the Asunafo South District have openly declared their support for the creation of the new Ahafo Region.

In their display of full support, the honourable Assembly Members came out in their numbers from far and wide to converge in Kukuom to make a public declaration.

The public declaration was made by the Presiding Member of Asunafo South District Assembly, Hon. Dadson (PM). In His declaration he said, ‘ The entire house is in full support of the creation of the new Ahafo Region and we are all committed to this goal. We are working and we will continue to work to achieve this dream for posterity to remember us.

It is widely known that asunafo south wields an influential position in the sociol-economic and political development of the Bring Ahafo and hence it’s involvement in the proposed new region will augur well for the people.

The Assembly member had deliberations aimed at dissecting and identifying strategies to be implemented to help attain high voter turnout out on the voting day, slated for the 27th December 2018.

Hon. Ing. Kobby Amoa-Mensah, the elected Assembly Member for Kukuom Abr)mamu Beposo Tanoso, gave credence to the message by indicating that he has made the following provisions to support the campaign by assembly members:
1) 2 FWD vehicles,
2) 1 Motorcycle
3) 150 T Shirts for Assembly Members and 4) Fuel Costs.

These resources he said should help reduce the burden of assembly members in the campaign to achieve the creation of Ahafo Region.

The government Appointee Assembly member for Sankore reiterated the need for unity and also proclaimed that the people of Sankore and it’s surrounding villages are all being educated to vote massively for the new Ahafo Region.

In this delight the entire house of assembly members left the premises of the District Assembly with one accord – Vote Yes for Ahafo Region.
