Asunafo South District Secure Scholarships For 6 To Study In China

Dream For All Foundation (DFAF) and Asunafo South Abroad Scholarship program have secured full educational scholarships for six exceptional students to study in China.

On 28th August, 2018, the Asunafo South District through DFAF awarded $87,384.76 worth of scholarships to five (5) exceptional students to study in China for the 2018 edition.

The 2019 scholarship edition for 6 exceptional students on 25th April, 2019 is worth $100,747.38 under the 2019 Asunafo South Abroad scholarship program.

The full scholarship package includes free accommodation, free tuition and a monthly allowance for the respective three years (Masters) and four years (Doctoral/PhD) programs.

The full list of the beneficiaries of the 2019 Asunafo South Abroad scholarship program are Danso Samuel Yaw (Doctoral degree in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing), Gyasi Poku (Doctoral degree in New Energy Control and Energy Saving Technology), Akanyange Stephen Nyabire (Master’s degree in Environmental Science), Akwaa Godfred Fenteng (Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering), Quarshie Samuel De-Graft (Master’s degree in Environmental Science) and Osei Evans (Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering).

The scholarship was presented by Mr. Kyei Foster, Grant Coordinator for DFAF.

The International Exchange of Shandong University of Science and Technology, (SDUST), Shandong Province signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Asunafo South District Assembly in April 2017.

The MOU was signed on behalf of the District Assembly under the Dream for all foundation (DFAF), Asunafo South Abroad Scholarship program by the founder Mr Moses Antwi popularly known as Nana Moses II.

according to the MOU, SDUST and Asunafo South District will collaborate on creating opportunities for high-achieving and under-served Ghanaian youth to access and succeed in higher education through Engineering and Law courses.
