The Constituency Executive Committee (which includes our Member of Parliament, Hon. Patrick Banor), the District Chief Executive, Hon. Anthony Mensah and the entire members of the NPP in Asutifi North, has been hard hit by the sudden demise of Hon. Paul Okoh, a former Member of Parliament for the Constituency.

Hon. Paul Okoh, until his demise at
the late hours of today, Monday, 19th February, 2024, was the party’s maiden Member of Parliament for the party in Asutifi North Constituency.

He was a 3rd term Member of Parliament, from 2000 to 2012. He was consequently appointed to serve as Ghana’s Ambassador to Egypt in 2017.

Hon. Okoh served the party in several capacities, playing several roles in both the Constituency and outside the Constituency. He was an astute politician whose 12 year tenure as a Member of Parliament, brought numerous infrastructural and socio-economic development to Asutifi North Constituency.

While commiserating with the family, the Asutifi North NPP extends its deepest condolences to the bereaved wife, children, and the entire family.

As a mark of respect in his honour, the Constituency party directs that the party flag at its office fly at half – mask for the next 7 days .

May he find peace in the bosom of his maker.
