Bawumia’s campaign strategy connects with ordinary Ghanaians, says Dr Agyekum-Obeng

Dr Ezekiel Agyekum-Obeng, a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) national communication team, has praised Vice-President Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign strategy, which he believes allows ordinary Ghanaians to interact with the NPP presidential candidate uniquely.

Dr Bawumia is currently on a nationwide tour, engaging with Ghanaians in preparation for the December 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.

Speaking on The Forum on Asaase 99.5 Saturday (4 May), Dr Agyekum-Obeng highlighted the enthusiastic response to the vice president’s approach.

“You can see the organic outpour of love and admiration for the person of Dr. Bawumia,” Agyekum-Obeng said.

“We are not renting a crowd to go and meet our presidential candidate. He’s moving on the street, he’s going house-to-house, shops-to-shops, workplace-to-work place, touching base with the people .”

Dr Agyekum-Obeng emphasised that Dr. Bawumia’s approach allows Ghanaians to experience his humility, vision, and policies firsthand.

“When we say he is humble, have you experienced his humility? When we say he’s a visionary, have you experienced him speaking? When we say he has the vision and the policies that will change the fortunes of the country and prepare and place the future leaders of this country to be able to take up the mantle of leadership and positions in the future and in the world at large, have you ever had the opportunity to experience Dr Bawumia?”
