Breaking News: Success FM 90.9 in Ahafo Goaso burns beyond recognition

Success FM 90.9 MHz in Goaso in the Ahafo Region of Ghana has been gutted by fire, burnt beyond recognition.

The incident is said to have happened on Sunday dawn around 1:50 am – July 30, 2023.

According to a report, the security at the post only saw a flash of fire gusting out of the studio before escalating to damage the property.

Before the arrival of the firefighters, the fire had ravaged the studios of Success FM, burning major equipment used in the transmission process.

Microphones, computers, and other radio equipment have all been destroyed by the inferno.

A vivid account of what caused the outbreak is yet to be made known as GNFS proceeds with its investigations.

The outbreak of fire at Sucess FM 90.9 is the second time in over a year a radio station in Goaso has been gutted by fire.
