Chinese Man Blocks Ahafo Asumara road.

The Asumara Highway is a vital road linking inhabitants located deep beyond the Asumura forest to The Regional Capital and Beyond.

The newly constructed road which was lobbied for by the Sitting Member of Parliament Hon. Evans Opoku Bobie has brought so much economic activity to the area to improve living standards.

In the past, it could take 2 hours to traverse the road from Goaso to Asumura. It is however blocked now by timber logs.

According to our sources, the road has been blocked for 3 days making it impossible for traders and commuters to travel.

It is claimed that the owner of the logs is a chinese man who has left the scene and all efforts to find him have proven futile.

We are appealing to the appropriate authorities to come to the rescue of users of the road.
