Cocoa farmers donates to fire service

 

The Asunafo North Municipal Cooperative  Cocoa Farmers in the Brong Ahafo Region has donated Wellington boats, cuttlasses, torch lights and water bottles to Goaso fire service.

 

The items worth Ghc3,000.00 will be distributed to fire volunteers across the municipality to monitor, protect and educate farmers the causes and preventive measures of bush fire. 

 

Speaking on Goaso based Success FM after the donation, Mr.  Patrick Owusu, Union 

Manager of the farmers, charged the Ghana National Fire Service and the fire volunteers to protect their farms against bush fires.
