The Municipal Chief Executive of Sunyani Municipal Assembly, Hon Ansu Kumi has disclosed on a Sunyani-based Suncity Radio 97.1 that, his Administration would anchor its development on a rigorous consultation with stakeholders which he is confident would be the surest way to get the people to help his administration.
The Chief Executive has consistently repeated this passionate call throughout his media engagements on Nimdeefm 95.1, Service Radio 104.9, Radio B.A.R 93.5, Moonlite FM 102.3
The humble and conscientious MCE held that, “to get the Municipality to transform as desired, we have to go to the people and reason with them on how and why to ensure proper sanitation, how to raise authorised structurs and on our terms, we have to make compromises and strike a common ground to get everyone along for the transformational agenda of this Municipality”.
He continued, “Partnering with my MP and Mentor together with Nananom, Assembly Members and the people to work on the many issues confronting us, is the way to go, which would most likely make my administration the greatest because at the end of the day, we shall deliver”.
“I came to serve the people, protect lives and properties and that is exactly what I would do with the people and with the law by our side, we would achieve a lot in the coming days”.
The MCE upon his nomination by the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and subsequent confirmation by the Assembly Members decided to honor invitations from media stations including the print to reach out to his constituents and thank them for their support and prayers and also take some suggestions as well on his new job.
