Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has said for the first time in two years, Muslims in Ghana will be observing their normal Eid prayers without Covid-19 restrictions.

He said this is a massive grace the almighty Allah has bestowed on the country for which the people are most grateful.

In his message to all Ghanaians especially Muslim on the occasion of the EidAlFitr celebration on Tuesday May 3, he said “As we rejoice with our families and loved ones, let us remain thankful for his mercies and grace and continue to pray for our family, loved ones and our dear country.

“Let us continue to uphold our beautiful spirit of selflessness, generosity and compassion we showed towards humanity during the month of Ramadan.”
