The Paramount Chief (Omanhene) of Ahafo Goaso has in a very charged tone dared any gay to rear their ugly head within his traditional land boundaries.
Nana Akwasi Bosompra has indicated that the LGBTQ+ community, advocate and allies are not welcome in his traditional jurisdiction. He said they can go to foreign countries that accept such frowned upon acts. To him, these acts are abominations and absolutely abhorred in our culture in Ahafoman.
In furtherance of his position, he demanded that the Member of Parliament for Asunafo South should hold town meetings to seek the views of communities on LGBT issues.His view is that, this will equip the current MP to solicit the views of his constituents to aid him appreciate their position on LGBT issues.
Nana Bosompra reiterated that Nananom in Ahafoman are United and are all singing in tune and harmony against LGBT ++.
