President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has said his administration is attracting educated youths into agriculture through investments in agribusiness.

Mr Akufo-Addo said the government is focusing its energies on supporting commercial farming.

“We are focusing our energies on supporting commercial farming, and attracting educated youths into agriculture, building Ghana’s light manufacturing sector, fast-tracking efforts at digitisation and establishing Ghana as a Regional Hub,” he said.

“Ghana offers agribusinesses easy access to export markets in Europe at a lower cost than elsewhere in #Africa. Agro-processing businesses are given a five-year tax holiday and location-based tax rebates for agribusinesses in manufacturing. #GhanaForInvestment“
