End of year football competitions [Gala] organised and fully sponsored by the Asunafo North Member of Parliament who also doubles as the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Hon Evans Opoku Bobie which happened in all the 29 electoral areas we have in this constituency came to an end yesterday.

The aim of this initiative was to bring unity and happiness in the communities as the people celebrate Christmas and a new year and also figure out talents.

The climax of it all was the 3 days gala that took place in Mim.
Hon. Bobie fully sponsored the 3 days tournament without taking registration fee from any of the participating teams unlike what the NDC 2020 Parliamentary candidate in Asunafo North did.

The Ayum Park which was the venue was filled with almost half of the people in Mim yesterday as the final of the tournament was being played.

In attendance was the MP Hon Bobie and his entourage the former member of Parliament in Asunafo North Hon Booba, the Secretary for Asunafo North NPP Patrick Ayamah [Patoo], the second vice chairman Perfect, the personal aid of the MP neyger and Farouk and some electoral area and polling station executives in Mim and of course the communications officer of the NPP in Asunafo North Nimako Mensah Kobby.

The MP used the opportunity to thank the committee he constituted to make sure that the tournament becomes successful for a wonderful workdone.

He again applaud all the participating teams and the spectators as he assured them that he will continue to organise such a beautiful tournament in the subsequent years.

He then again addressed the issues sarounding the AstroTurf he is constructing for Mim and assured them of its completion.

Signed: Kobby Nimako Mensah.
