A new church building and school blocks for the Christ’s Victory Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana at Obenimase in the Konongo District in the Asante Akyem have been dedicated to the glory of God.

The construction of the chapel and the school buildings were funded by Professor and Mrs. Ebenezer Jackson of the Jackson College of Education, Kumasi.

Dedicating the buildings at a special church service at Obenimase near Konongo in the Asante Akyen Central District in the Ashanti Region on Wednesday 30th November 2022, the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rt. Rev Prof. Joseph Obiri Yeboah Mante commended the Jackson family for their selflessness, dedication, and commitment to the service of God and His Church over the years by putting up church buildings for worship.

The Moderator also commended the Minister in Charge of Christ’s Victory Congregation Rev Emmanuel Dela Tega for working hard.

The Moderator urged the congregation to ensure regular maintenance of the structure in order to prolong its life span. He said, failure to have regular maintenance would derail all the toil and sweat of the donors.

Mrs. Theodosia Wilhelmina Jackson in a speech said the buildings were a donation from the family to support God’s work in the area.
They include a 500-seater chapel, a six-unit classroom block, and a three-unit classroom block for the Presbyterian Model Primary, and Junior High Schools respectively, a toilet facility, kitchen for the school, and a bole-whole for water supply which was donated by the contractor Mr. Kwasi Yankah.
