Ahafonews.com has sighted a communication from the 2020 NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Asunafo South Hon. Ing. Kobby Amoa-Mensah calling on Muslims and Christians to cement/consolodate the peace in Asunafo South and Ghana at large.

In his communication he delivered the message below to his supporters.

Most often we do forget the many blessings bestowed upon us. The favour of life garnished with the grace of life is a spectacle many behold but take for granted.

On this Good Friday, we must appreciate the
value of life and inevitable end to life, death. The Crucifiction and resurrection of Jesus Christ earmarked by Easter is a fundamental belief in Christianity from which the salvation of Christians emanates.

During Every Easter families meet to reflect on life, make amends through building bridges and setting of new challenges and goals to positively impact the future.

This Easter, just as we celebrate the cruxifiction and resurrection of Jesus Christ, it is my aspiration that this period will be period of renewal, rejuvenation and rescucitation.

In the same vein as we Celebrate Easter, our Muslim families are also currently fasting in the Holy Month of Ramadan.
With these two special religious occassions concurrently in, effect, my belief is that all our prayers will be most effective when we all combine in unity to pray. This period is perfect. I wish this special period of Easter and Ramadan cements the priceless Peace we are currently enjoying in Asunafo South.

We have come a long way as a people in Asunafo South. The historic violence in our area is over. We must not tolerate it ever again. We must maintain the peace we have in our constituency. This is a strong position I hold. Our Peace should be cemented. The leadership from all quarters in Asunafo South must take a strong position on the issue of peace which has directly affected our development agenda over.

May this easter be a blessed one.

Happiness for this Easter, Ramadan and beyond.

Hon. Ing. Kobby. Amoa-Mensah
NPP PC Asunafo South, 2020
