Government Spokesperson and an NPP Communicator, Nana Kofi Akomea says Ghanaians are no longer interested in former President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC due to their abysmal performance in government.

According to him, the opposition National Democratic Congress peddled propaganda against the NPP prior to the 2020 general elections.

He noted that Ghanaians voted for the NPP due to its historic performance since its assumption into office in 2017.

Nana Kofi Akomea disclosed this on ‘Ebesi Sen’ political show with Kwabena Nyarko Abronoma on Bryt FM last Thursday.

“Ghanaians voted massively against the Mahama-NDC government because they performed abysmally when given the mandate, hence I’m surprised to hear some NDC members speaking ill of President Akufo-Addo’s administration ” he stressed.
Nana Kofi Akomea also stated that the New Patriotic Party is the only political party that is concerned about value for money.

He intimated that projects undertaken by the John Dramani Mahama-NDC government cost more than three times that of President Akufo-Addo and the NPP.

He emphasised that the NPP government is on course with the construction of four interchanges, which is far lower than the cost of the Circle interchange constructed by the NDC.

He, however, assured Ghanaians of government commitment to ensuring all promises made are fulfilled for the betterment of the country and its citizens.

“It is the NDC that is known for failing on their promises since experiencing our democratic dispensation and not the NPP.”
