The North America chapter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Professionals Forum has thrown its weight behind the ‘do or die’ comment made by Mr. John Dramani Mahama.

According to the group “Do or Die” means that Ghanaians must ensure there’s fairness, justice, peace, transparency and accountability at every polling station in the 2024 general elections.

The group argues that “Do or Die” is all about showing commitment and executing a task to perfection, as such, it fully stand with President Mahama.

The NDC group encourages every voter to be emboldened and feel motivated to do what is right by the Constitution.

“NDC Professionals Forum, North America chapter by this release fully support the “Do or Die” statement made by former President John Dramani Mahama. It’s a statement that seeks to draw the attention of Ghanaians and state institutions to go at every length in protecting the sanctity and integrity of future elections,” a press statement from the group signed by its president Arnold Appiah has said.

It adds, “Election is a process and the need for constant review is very necessary to the growth of our democracy. This statement is purposed to create the needed awareness and remind Ghanaians of what is expected of us as citizens.”
