He states that, ‘King Osei Tutu II’s reign marked a watershed, both in firming up the foundations and also broadening the expanse and influence of Asante.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, therefore, had a charge to keep to reposition Asante and, indeed, chieftaincy in contemporary Ghanaian geopolitics. He has seen and achieved tremendous success.

(MP, Majority Leader and Minister for Parliamentary Affairs) is a leading member of the governing NPP and is the longest serving NPP member of Parliament. Many see the combined Parliamentary contributions, his work ethics and fierce defense of the party as a rarity. Indeed he is a thorn in the flesh of the NDC, because he knows the institutional records of the legislative arm of government so well. His prowess in this arena is unrivalled and he marvels many with his dexterity in dealing with technicalities on the floor of Parliament.
