The remaining eight teams in this season’s MTN FA Cup competition will received a cash sum of GHS6,000 for reaching this stage, chairman of the competition, Mr. Wilson Arthur has revealed.
The domestic cup competition in the last few weeks has progressed steadily with a number of exciting fixtures being played.
Now heading into its quarter-final phase, there are eight clubs geared up to stage a challenge to advance to the semi-final and closer to making the finals.
Today during the draw for the last eight pairings, Chairman of the MTN FA Cup competition, Mr. Wilson Arthur has disclosed that each of the remaining teams is entitled to GHS6,000.
Teams that will make the semi-finals will also receive a special cash package, the same as the finalists and the eventual winner.

AshantiGold SC v Kintampo Top Talent FC
Asante Kotoko v Berekum Chelsea
Elmina Sharks v Hearts of Oak
Medeama SC v Attram DeVisser Soccer Academy
The quarterfinal games will be played on July 24 and 25 with the semi-final games scheduled for July 31 and August 1 at the Cape Coast Stadium.
