Samuel Boadu is expecting a tough game against AshantiGold SC in the MTN FA Cup final.

Hearts of Oak recorded a 3-0 win over Medeama SC in the semifinal of the game at the Cpa Coast Stadium on Sunday.

Midfielder Benjamin Afutu opened the scoring account on the 12th minute with a header before Isaac Mensah doubled the league in the early stages of the second half.

Daniel Afriyie Barnieh from the spot-kick completed the win having given another chance after missing the first kick with goalkeeper Frank Boateng penalised for moving above the goalline.

Speaking after the game, Boadu, who is the head coach of the Phobians said he sees nothing special about the game stating it was like all other games they have played throughout and has revealed he does not build his team around one player.

“It was just a normal match that we played. In fact, during the first half, they did well. they tried to confuse us but we should our technique and tactics to score all the three goals.

”I don’t build my team around a few people. I build the team around all the players so if one is not there, his replacement will be far better than the starter.

Boadu also admitted the final game against AshantiGold SC won’t be an easy showdown for him and his charges.

”The final match won’t be easy. Playing with AshGold, I don’t think it will be easy.”

The ‘Phobians’ will now face AshantiGold SC for the ultimate trophy as their quest for double this season is still on course having already won the league.
