Rivers FM’s Akoa Paul has been telling Daakyehemaa Adwoa Asantewaa on Onua News that the deceased was a former military officer who provides security for the newly constructed fuel station which is less than a year old.

He reports that around 1 am Monday, August 16, 2022, four robbers who were armed with metals, dressed in all black attire with masks covering their entire heads stormed the station and attacked the first security with the metals they had picked from the fuel station, gasping his brains from the the skull.

Speaking to journalists within the enclave, some victims of the attack narrated the robbers entered the mart after seizing the gun of the second security officer who is also a retired military officer.

Their numerous attempts to fire the gun at the remaining workers failed because the officer had locked the gun.

About four females and two males were also at the station who were attacked, injuring some of them.

The injured have been sent to the Wassa Akropong Government Hospital receiving treatment.

The matter has been reported to the Wassa Akropong Police station who are currently investigating the matter.
