As Christians across the globe celebrate this year’s Christmas festivity with merry-making the vulnerable in society are left out.
The Member of Parliament for Tano North Constituency in the Ahafo Region, Hon. Dr. Freda Prempeh as part of the activities has reached out to 600 widows in her constituency.
The gesture is not only part of activities to mark the Christmas celebration, but to also support the aged.
Hon. Dr. Freda Prempeh used the occasion to give out boxes of hampers to the windows which last year gave half piece of cloth to about 600 widows.
The windows were grateful and assured Hon. Dr. Freda Prempeh of their continous support. They took turns to pray for her and the government. The affable MP also visited some churches in her constituency and donated same to the aged.
