The former Regional Organizer of Ahafo, Alfred Asiedu (Nana Adu), who recently contested in the Parliamentary Primaries for Asunafo North, led his team on a campaign in Asunafo North, specifically in Goaso Abrodanho.

During the engagement, Nana Adu discussed various programs outlined by Dr. Bawumia aimed at creating job opportunities. He emphasized the use of the Ghana Geological Authority to explore mineral potentials in the region, highlighting that new discoveries could attract mining firms and ultimately reduce unemployment. Nana Adu commended Dr. Bawumia’s efforts as Vice President and urged the community to consider giving him the chance to do more.

Drawing inspiration from the current affairs in the Parliament of Ghana, Nana Adu encouraged the group to support Hon Evans Opoku Bobie as their Member of Parliament to continue his work. Nana Adu described Hon Bobie as Dr. Bawumia’s representative in Asunafo North, emphasizing the importance of having a strong local connection. He suggested that the group officially name themselves “Friends of Bobie (FoB’08) – Abrodanho.”

Hon Bobie, in attendance at the engagement, promised to collaborate with the group and address their concerns. The residents expressed their delight at witnessing Nana Adu and Hon Bobie campaigning together, showing unity and dedication to community development.
