TESCON-UEW DOES NOT HAVE EXECUTIVES

Ahafonews.com is on authoritatively reporting on a communique issued by concerned TESCON -UEW members showing their displeasure.
Below is the full communique;

It has come to the notice of the membership of TESCON-UEW that some unscrupulous people are parading themselves as executives of TESCON-UEW.

This comes on the back of a WhatsApp message making rounds on some TESCON-UEW platforms indicating some people being appointed as executives of the association on campus.

Currently, technically, TESCON-UEW does not have executives as all the remaining active executives are all on internship and thereby no more considered as students on campus and can neither govern the association from outside campus.

We are aware that TESCON-UEW has a letterhead that is used in the communication of official messages to its members. Since there has not been any of such *official* communique from the association, we deem every other message as null and void.

As it stands, there is no hindrance to the conducting of elections in the coming semester that will necessitate appointments.

If any of such will emerge at all, it will be the Regional Youth Organizer and TESCON Coordinator in consultation with the Chief Patron and other Patrons of the association in doing so through an *official* communique bearing the letterhead of TESCON-UEW.

Since there has not been anything of that sort, no one can carry himself or herself in the capacity of executive to TESCON-UEW.

We sound a word of caution to those people parading themselves as executives to desist from the act with immediate effect as their action is in direct contravention of the TESCON Constitution.

By this all TESCON-UEW we implore members who are mad at what is making rounds to remain calm and resolute in the face of the current situation the association finds itself in.
