The National Elections Committee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), chaired by Mr Peter Mac Manu, has approved the aspirants to take part in the upcoming National Officers’ elections slated for 15th to 17th July 2022 at the Accra sports stadium.

This was after an extensive discussion with the prospective candidates and the interrogation of their documents, a statement by the party on Thursday June 23.

“Two prospective aspirants for the position of National Women Organizer and National Youth Organizer, Abena Osei Bonsu and and Klinsman Karikari Mensah Tumfuor respectively have rescinded their decision to contest,” the statement revealed.
