Two persons have been confirmed dead, while one person has been injured after a wall collapsed on some contractors who were working at a project site at Konkromoase in the Ashanti Region.
According to Citi News’ Ashanti Regional correspondent, Hafiz Tijani, the three were “erecting a wall at a project site when the wall collapsed on them.”
The three were trapped under the rubble, but only one survived.
Hafiz said the timely intervention of police officers saved the life of the injured person, who is currently in a critical condition.
The remains of the other two have been deposited at the morgue.
Police have begun investigations into the incident.
