Al Sadd SC head coach, Xavi Hernandez has spoken highly of Ghana captain Andre Ayew after describing him as a professional and talented player.

The experienced attacker joined the Qatari Champions in July and will have a key role to play for the team in the 2021/2022 football season.

Earlier today, Andre Ayew scored on his debut for Andre Ayew when Al Sadd SC defeated Spanish outfit UE Figueres 5-3 in a pre-season friendly match.

Speaking in an interview with the media team of Al Sadd after the game, Coach Xavi Hernandez has described Andre Ayew as a very good player.

“We didn’t change many players. We signed Andre Ayew; he’s a very good player, professional and talented. Many young players will also join the team,” the Barcelona legend said as quoted on the Twitter page of the Qatari giants.

Andre Ayew and his Al Sadd SC teammates remain in camp in Barcelona, Spain, where they are holding a pre-season training camp.

According to the Black Stars forward, his goal for the upcoming season is to help the Qatari side win as many trophies as possible.
