YEA CEO meets Bono Communicators

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Youth Employment Agency, Mr Kofi Baah Agyapong engaged Party Communicators in the Bono Region ahead of the launch of the “Business and Employment Assistance Program” on Monday, 11th December 2023 at the Eusbet International Conference Center in Sunyani, the Bono Regional Capital.

This move is part of his strategies to get the Party communicators along with the policies of the Agency.

Touching on the nature of the programme, he indicated that this is a game changer to get as many youth into employment as possible whilst assisting small scale businesses to boom, so that , Job owners would only register their employees with the Agency and once they meet the criteria, they would be paid 500 Cedis by the Agency as salaries whilst working in the benefit of the business.

He intimated that, the Agency would be assisting some twenty thousand (20000) beneficiaries under this programme to help the business growth of the Business enterprises.

He held that, Business Owners are to top up the 500 cedis salary from the Agency to the beneficiaries as they continue to work for the development of the Business.

He revealed that, the Agency has so far engaged some One Hundred and Twenty Five Thousand (125000) beneficiaries under several other modules including, the Community Policing, Prison Assistance, Community Health Assistance, the Artisan module, etc

He explained that, Party communicators are key in selling these interventions and programmes by the Government to the people, hence, the need to engage them.

Mr Kofi Agyapong remains one of the three CEOs in the country that involves communicators in the Bono Region in their activities.

The CEO also had important in-house discussions with the Team and encouraged them to double efforts in propagating the many projects and achievements of the Party.
