Your Gov't Stole with Impunity Even from Market Women - Nana B 'Fires' Mahama
National Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP) Henry Nana Boakye has taken a swipe at the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) and former President, John Dramani Mahama.
He says corruption thrived during the administration of the former president as he and the supervised a lot of scandals.
Speaking on Okay FM’s ‘Ade Akye Abia’ programme, he explained further that the unprecedented corruption witnessed during John Mahama’s tenure as president subjected a lot people especially market women who had suffered losses due to fire out breaks to abject poverty.
“Stealing during your term knew no bounds as some of your corrupt appointees even stole from market women with impunity.”
“The Presidency is meant for serious people and the former President’s track record gives an indication that he is going to cause more damage if he is allowed to lead Ghana again,” he said.
“A typical example of crass corruption is the current one that has seen the former CEO of MASLOC been jailed by the court for her involvement in embezzlement activities,” he added.
