AMEND Foundation in collaboration with Ghana Think Foundation organized the First Youth Seminar in Ahafo (Junior Bar Camp For JHS/SHS Students and Graduates). The seminar which was held on January 20, 2018 at the Kukuom Agric Senior High School was on the theme, Harnessing our Youthful Talents Towards The Development of Ahafoman, had Dr Agyenim Boateng (Director, Hart Medical Facility, Kumasi), Mr Ambrose Opoku (Ashanti Regional Manager, Imperial Insurance) and Architect Kwame Takyi (freelance architect and entrepreneur) as guest speakers.

The main speaker for the seminar, Dr Dr Yaw Adu Gyamfi, President, Ghana Baptist University College, spoke to participants on the need to choose their career paths carefully, and the dedication and commitment required to achieve their life’s goals.

The various guest speakers took turns to outline to participants what choices they had made to be in their respective professions with regards to course choices at the secondary and tertiary levels, and the personal development skills required to excel in their field.
