One person dead by a whisker at Sankore Four Junction in the Asunafo South Constituency of Ahafo Region on Tuesday evening around 6:18pm.
The incident which has threw the community into a state of shock happened when a timber truck loaded with logs lost control when burning the Four Junction curve.
Ahafonews eyewitnesses described the accident as very scary and questioned why Sankore city authorities are failing to restrict the movement of heavy trucks carting logs in Sankore, particularly during day hours and market days.
The residents said they have witnessed a number of timber truck accidents in same place with similar cause hence want the government to act immediately to avoid deaths from such incidents.
