Ahafo Region Elects Nana Yaw Basoa As Regional Rep on Council of State

In a master class exhibition of unity, the People of Ahafo have unanimously and emphatically voted for Nana Yaw Basoa, the Kronkohene of The Omanhene of Duayaw Nkwanta as the Council of State representative for the newly created Ahafo Region. The people’s choice.

The newly elected member of the Council of State thanked all delegates for the overwhelming vote of confidence and promised to serve Ahafo with Lal his heart. Furthermore he humbly solicited for the involvement of all losing contestants to rally behind him to put ahead the development of Ahafo. for was their support to make Ahafo a better place.

Research conducted by Ahafo news revealed that, a group of people in Ahafo ganged up and propagated a story as a campaign message for a particular candidate which failed. Their propaganda was that, one contestant was the preferred candidate of the President of the Republic of Ghana. These people have no shame and respect for the President. They lied on the President. When these lies were unravelled, the delegates voted massively for the people’s choice, Nana Basoa.

Who are these people who claimed that the President had a special candidate and as such the delegates should vote for the president’s choice. Is this true or false?

The convincing win attainned by Nana Basoa clearly shows that the will of the people of Ahafo is to attain Unity.

Notably missing from the election grounds was the NPP regional chairman who has been sowing seeds of disunity in Ahafo Region.
