The change we voted for has obviously been tremendously beneficial to us all and has shown that our party NPP is indeed trustworthy in delivering it’s promises to the good people of Ghana. The creation of the new regions as promised by our great party has been fulfilled and will surely be a vehicle to accelerate growth and development in our beloved country.
The new Ahafo region affords us the opportunity to select/elect new officers to run the activities of the party in the region and obviously we wait for the national executive committee (NEC) to pave the way and give the green light for us to work as a collective group and ensure our party makes giant strides in the 2020 elections.
Among the available gaps to be filled is the Regional Youth Organizer portfolio for our newly created Ahafo region which I believe is a great concern to us as youth of the party in the region. We can all attest that Mr Michael Osei Boateng Pope our Brong Ahafo Regional Youth Organizer is a native of our region and we are proud of him as a son of our new region.
We want to assure him of our unflinching support if he decides to continuously serve as Ahafo Regional Youth Organizer, we are prepared to vouch for his exposure, experience and ability.
Nevertheless, if he decides to move and contest as the Regional Organizer in our region, he has our support and we will work all out for his victory. But we will also throw our support behind Mr Alfred Asiedu (Nana Adu) who is the current Asunafo North Youth Organiser and Ahafo Regional Youth Organizer hopeful. We believe he has the experience and the know-how when it comes to running issues pertaining to youth empowerment and wooing young men/ women to joining the party and that was evident in the 2016 election results of Asunafo North in which our votes as a party increased astronomically. He has always been available to serve the party and advance the course of the youth he leads.
We believe Nana Adu is fit for the job and would be the most suitable candidate for us if Mr Michael Osei Boateng Pope decides to contest for the Regional Organizer of Ahafo.
We therefore call on all and sundry to rally behind Pope and Nana Adu for the betterment of this great party in Ahafo. Indeed there is hope in Pope and Nana Adu is the best man for the Youth job.
