The NPP in Asunafo South are showing by all indications that they are poised for victory in the up coming December elections.
At the Launch of the Campaign at the constituency, all stakeholders across the constituency showed that they were eager to work in unity and harmony to snatch the MP Seat from the NDC and also retain H.E. Nana Akuffo Addo. This campaign they call KAM4VICTORY KAMpaign.
The launch was graced by big wigs of the NPP such as the National Youth Organiser Lawyer Nana Boakye aka Nana Bee, Ahafo Regional Minister Hon Evans Opoku Bobie, Regional Chairman Mr Owusu Sekyere, former Members of Parliament and Ministers. Party electoral area coordinators, polling station Executives and party faithfuls filled the streets to witness this historic launch in Kwapong, a stronghold of the NPP.
All Aspirants at recent primaries including Hon Yaw Boakye, Adjei Marlick and Emmanuel Tetteh publicly pronounced their commitment and support to the KAM4VICTORY KAMpaign launch. This unprecedented feat exhibited sent sent a strong signal to all and sundry that, the NPP in Asunafo South is very United and their primary goals of retaining the President and snatching the MP seat remain in focus.
Hon Yaw Boakye, former MP of Asunafo South and one of the Aspirants at the recent primaries advised all party faithfuls to vote massively for Kobby Amoa-Mensah as next incoming MP for Asunafo South and also indicated the need to end the ‘skirt and blouse’ voting pattern in the constituency.
The campaign team was also inaugurated and outdoored to the entire constituency.
Alhaji Ziblim Alhassan, who was named as the head of the central campaign team admonished all to work selflessly to clinchq our goals. The campaign coordinator, Mr Gabriel Kusi who also doubles as the Constituency Secretary highlighted the need for effective organisation at the grassroots level to attain Victory.
The Parliamentary Candidate, Hon Ing. Kobby Amoa-Mensah thanked all for supporting the campaign and humbly
pleaded with all to give him the opportunity to serve the great people of Asunafo South. He stated that, Peace, Health, Development and Jobs are the main focal area main.
This is the best campaign launch I have witnessed ever since I followed politics 18 years’ according to Akwasi Adu an ardent party supporter.
The day ended peacefully with jubilation
