The National Third Vice Chairman , Michael Omari Wadie has alerted the general public to me vigilant in relation to scammers.
In a press release sighted by Ahafonews.com, Mr Omari Wadie indicated that unsuspecting party executives (constituency and regional) and MMDCE’S are being duped by unscrupulous persons across the country.
I have a strong relationship with the grassroots and party machinery across the country and for that reason some unscrupulous persons are using my good name to scheme their criminal activities, he indicated.
He explained that the scammers are soliciting for assistance claiming to send relief items on his behalf, for which he is not aware, not involve and has not authorised anyone to do such.
He also pleaded with constituency or regional executives not to release any phone numbers when such scammers demand them.
If you have an experience report to the nearest police station and provide the scammer’s number to the police or relevant telecommunications company.
Let’s stay vigilant to curtail their fraudulent activities.
Mr Omari Wadie according to our research will be contesting for the position of Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party and has a strong grassroots support base due to his great human relations, communication, experience and down to earth nature.
