Experienced Ghana forward, Gladson Awako has extended his appreciation to everyone at Great Olympics in a farewell message that confirms his exit from the club.

As reported by Modernghana Sports already, the highly-rated forwards is joining Hearts of Oak on a two-year deal ahead of the start of the 2021/2022 football season.

Set to begin the new chapter of his career next week, Gladson Awako has taken to his Facebook page to say his goodbye to administrators of Great Olympics, staff, his teammates, as well as fans.

“It’s with mixed emotions that I am writing this message. To everyone at Accra Great Olympics Football Club. The owner Mr. Amakai who brought me here, to my teammates who helped me, to the staff who made my time here so easy and to all you fans who made me feel so special week in week out,” a post on the Facebook page of the player reads.

It adds, “It has been an incredible journey and it is with great sadness that I must say goodbye. I will miss you all and wish you the best of luck for the future.’ Thanks for everything.”

Gladson Awako has joined Hearts of Oak with a lot of quality and is expected to provide a major squad boost for the club’s campaign in the CAF Champions League.
