The Ghana Grid Company Limited has announced “load management” is likely following the falling of a collapsed mast on the 330kV Aboadze — Kumasi Transmission Line.

This, according to a communication from GRIDCo Wednesday, November 10, resulted in the “collapse of two adjacent towers” near Bogoso in the Western Region.

“This has affected the national power system and may result in some load management. GRIDCo is working around the clock to replace the fallen towers within the shortest possible time”, parts of the statement reads.

The company apologizes for any inconvenience caused and assures the public it is “committed to maintaining a stable network for reliable and efficient power delivery”.
