The long serving Junior High School in Sankore (Sankore D/A ‘A’ JHS) located in the Asunafo South of Ahafo Region has received donation.
The school has been lacking for chairs for the past 5-years only for students to carry plastic chairs from their various home to sit on it during classes.
Teachers has been trying their best by writing to the District Assembly and GES of Asunafo South but nothing came out from both offices during this 5-years.
On Thursday 11th November,2021 a renowned business man called Mr. James Owusu who owes Star of Hope Hospital, Jackus Enterprise and other business in and outside Sankore has donated twenty (20) chairs ie dual desk to the school to help solve the chairs problem.
During the presentation,he advise students to make good use of it and also take their studies serious.
The headmaster of the school, Mr. Duku James expressed his gratitude and promised to make good use of it in other to serve it purpose.
